Day 90 + 33 – Champions League, Evernote and Trello

day 90 plus 33Day 90 + 33 of #cleanse4expansion and I have decided to give Trello another go. I tried it a few years ago, but never really got into it. Then I got inspired by my dear friend Inga-Lill who successfully uses it for Cancerkompisar (meaning cancer buddies), the Swedish non-profit organization she’s started, matching people close to those afflicted with cancer with a buddy in the same circumstances, to talk to. So I got some help from the same person who helped her get started with a good system, and yup. I am pleased. I will give it an honest go, and see if that’s what will work for me. You see, I’m a habitual list maker, combined with a desire to try out the latest tool…. so I’ve given lots of tools a go, but always end up stumbling somewhere along the line. A lot of the inspiration for the tools I try out come from David Stiernholm, the Swedish struktör, that you will soon hear more of here.

76 labels of ToDo turned into zero. Will delete the label itself. And I could move my card of "Transfer ToDos from Evernote to Trello" from the "Do today"-list to "Done" in Trello.

So what I’ve been doing today is transferring notes marked with ToDo in my Evernote account to cards in my personal Trello board. Some of the notes still stay in Evernote, but I ditched the label ToDo, since I’ve not used that at all. I mean, actually checking out my ToDos in Evernote, I apparently used it 76 times…

And guess what – I’m done before the Champions League semi-final so I can join the rest of the family in the sofa today!

This blog post is a part of the #cleanse4expansion-project initiated by Helena Roth as a part of the Create the impossible-online course that started January 11th, 2015. The aim of the project is to do a physical and digital cleanse, to enable spiritual expansion, and also to get 500 000 page views on the blog. The course ended on April 10th, but #cleanse4expansion hasn’t run it’s course to the finishing line yet, so there’s more to come.

I was able to work with Trello for the last 2 years with great success. The only missing part was to see all my assigned cards into one list, which is not in present in Trello. We need to switch from board to board each time. I recently found an extension doing what I want: Bridge24.com
